Voices.com, one of the biggest websites for voiceover talents, announced today that they have closed a $18 million investment with Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. In an open letter from the company’s website, co-founder Stephanie Ciccarelli wrote that this investment will help bring in 200 more jobs in their marketing and IT departments in an effort to bring more companies to the website to hire voiceover talents.
Within the last ten years, Voices.com has become a go-to site for major companies all over the world like Hulu, Bell Media, Go Daddy and the A&E Networks. It posts auditions for 5000 jobs every month for voiceover talents. A huge part of why the voiceover industry has become a $4 billion industry has been sites like Voices.com. Many of the top voiceover talents in the business use Voices.com as a way to generate jobs and income for their business. I also audition on Voices.com and you can see my profile here.
